Grocery Store - Business Planning and Project Management
Tk'emlups te Secwepemc
Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc recently announced the launch of this exciting Project for the community, which is a goal within their Comprehensive Community Plan. Like many other First Nations, Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc are driven to explore sustainable opportunities for employment creation, to facilitate food security, and to maximize the positive effects of local development. The Grocery Store will be the first step advancing the commercial portion of Lot 164 within the Chief Louis Centre.
VisionQuest Advisors has worked alongside the Business and Economic Development Department through all project phases, including feasibility study, business plan and implementation strategy, and now project management. We are honored to support Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc turn their vision into reality and achieve the project's key objectives:
> To serve the needs of the community and build the grocery store within budget and on schedule.
> To create new opportunities for partnerships, employment, and capacity development for members.
> To reinforce Secwépemc cultural traditions.
> To advance economic, social, and environmental sustainability and self-sufficiency.
