VisionQuest Advisors is honored to support Tk’emlups te Secwépemc through three projects and all phases, including feasibility study, business plan and implementation strategy, and now project management.
Grocery Store Project: Like many other First Nations, Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc are driven to explore sustainable opportunities for employment creation, to facilitate food security, and to maximize the positive effects of local development. Owning and operating a Grocery Store is a goal within their Comprehensive Community Plan and the Grocery Store is the first step advancing the commercial portion of Lot 164 within the Chief Louis Centre. We are honored to support Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc turn their vision into reality and achieve the project’s key objectives:
- To serve the needs of the community and build the grocery store within budget and on schedule.
- To create new opportunities for partnerships, employment, and capacity development for members.
- To reinforce Secwépemc cultural traditions.
- To advance economic, social, and environmental sustainability and self-sufficiency.
Commercial Complex and Gas Bar Projects: Both projects will grow revenue streams and create business and employment opportunities. They will minimize economic leakage and bring in new revenue from outside of the community. These projects will optimize TteS investments in related projects such as the Grocery Store through destination development. It will position the community from a business perspective, and respond to community needs as noted in the Comprehensive Community Plan. Learn more on these projects through the Project Highlights linked under “More Information”. Leasing and partnership enquiries should be directed to [email protected].
